Imagine this; a city where it’s constantly night time; beautifully lit by the moon and night lights. This is all I could think about whilst walking through Singapore at night. Some places just deserve longer nights than others as that is when they are most beautiful.

NIGHT FESTIVAL

On my short week long trip to Singapore, I was lucky enough to experience the night festival they were having at the time. Everyone in the small country were out and about as the streets were bustling with activity. From bands playing all around to a spectacular projector show (im not sure if that’s what they are called) that made my night.

GARDENS BY THE BAY & MARINA BAY

The two iconic places in Singapore looked even more stunning under the moonlight. The Gardens by the Bay which is the most iconic public space in the world is open to the public till 2am allowing you to take a night stroll through the gardens and through the bridge to the Marina Bay Sands and its environs. The view from here is spectacular.

ART SCIENCE MUSEUM

Although I did not get to go into the Museum at night, the Future World Exhibit in the museum reminded me of the stars in the countryside. This riveting show consists of thousands of lights that are synchronized to light up with some music. This was just one of the exhibits that combined science and art to make something creative and moving.
