Hello. Hope you had a lovely Sunday.

I was recently going through my photo album and i came across pictures from Christmas time in 2013, when i went to Naivasha with family to visit relatives and we also got to sneek some time for a little exploration. I wanted to share that day with you. The details are quite blurry but il share the bits and bobs that I remember.

THE ROAD TRIP

We left Nairobi at around 8am on Christmas Day and had a lovely 2 hour road trip. We got to experience the amazing view of the Rift Valley at the view point and also the oldest church in Kenya. We arrived at our hotel and had lunch before heading to our relatives’ place. The hotel had  local peacock that hang around. He was super cute! 😀

THE LAKE

Lake Naivasha is one of Kenya’s gems. We took a boat ride round the lake on Boxing Day, with my sister squirming due to her fear that the boat will topple over. The lake has a lot of hyacinth due to pollution.

HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK

We had some time to kill before we headed back to our relatives and opted to have a quick drive in the park.
